See What Proenza Schouler Has In Store For Spring 2012
…PS1 bags galore, that’s what. Plus, lots of Jack and Lazarro’s signature prints. Floral and leaf patterns adorned dresses in citrus hues. Pebble prints in black and white were another motif seen throughout the collection. An abstracted animal print in an unexpected mint chocolate chip hue definitely grabbed our attention, as did some killer black cocktail dresses.
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look straight outta the Proenza Schouler showroom in Paris…

On the runway, Missoni showed a wild collection of loud, bright and wild gypsy-inspired pieces. It was a fun collection, but probably not realistic unless you’re planning to spend the summer in Spain learning the Flamenco. But back at the Missoni showroom, there were lots of wearable zig-zaggy items that we’re sure will inspire at least a little bit of time spent poolside come summer. The Fendi Spring 2012 season is going to be a good one. In handbags, the label showed structured, ladylike totes in mixed exotic skins (see image above), basket weave totes, and jewel encrusted Baguettes. Shoes ranged from feminine wrap-around espadrilles to vivid sandals with stacked wooden heels. Colorful printed scarves were also a big theme for S/S 2012. In the Ready-to-Wear category, we saw lots of primary colors, studded Grecian-style dresses, and zipper-embellished minidresses. Take a look at the rest of what we saw at the Fendi showroom in Milan in the slideshow below, and let us know what you’re lusting after for Spring 2012. (If you can’t wait for next spring, check out our current Fendi collection here.)
