Recently, the board of directors of Cedars-Sinai, along with Chairman Lawrence B. Platt, honored Elyse for her contribution to Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Program and success with the Pink Party with a special dinner at Fig & Olive on Melrose Ave. Many of the Pink Party host committee members and sponsors came out to show their appreciation for Elyse, as did the director of the Women’s Cancer Program Dr. Beth Y. Karlan. Here are some highlights from the night.

Much like the sign in the entryway to the showroom, we heart Lanvin. Season after season, Alber Elbaz creates some of the prettiest and most wearable shoes, handbags and jewelry. Now in his 10th season as creative director, he’s obviously got it down to a science. New designer alert! We’re adding Sonia Rykiel to the mix starting with the label’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection. We were digging the collection’s abstract polka dot patterns, color block sweaters, rainbow striped cardis and gloves, and of course, Rykiel’s signature studded bags.
