Now’s the perfect time to do a little spring cleaning and wardrobe refreshing – what are you waiting for?
Molly (top left) is wearing Koral jeans, a Chloe top and an A.L.C. leather jacket. She’s a native Angeleno who works East Coast style mixed in with a little Parisian influence. You can usually find her wearing head-to-toe black. Email her at molly@elysewalker.com
Chutney (top right), our footwear buyer, is wearing Golden Goose jeans with a Current Elliott tee and a Proenza Schouler jacket. Her style mantra? “Dress to be remembered, not to stand out!” Email her at chutney@elysewalker.com
Lauren (bottom left), our contemporary buyer, is all about the extras. Her getting-dressed guideline: ”Start with an accessory story that inspires you and build from there.” Here, she started with The Woods and J Hadley jewelry, which she teamed with a Theory coral leather jacket, Kain tank top and Each x Other jeans. Email her at lauren@elysewalker.com
Patrick (bottom right), our sole male stylist, is wearing an LnA tee, Theory jacket and Balenciaga leather pants. He describes his style as “a mix of prep and edge…classic with a kick.” Email him at patrick@elysewalker.com
Wendy (top left), our general manager, is wearing a leather Helmut Lang jacket with an Each x Other scarf and Koral jeans. She’s been known to call color-blocking the new black. Email her at wendy@elysewalker.com
Sable (top right), who describes her style as effortless, can usually be found rocking a pair of leather leggings and at least one thing she designed herself. She is the founder and designer of BSABLE, and here, she’s wearing a BSABLE cropped faux fur jacket with a Chanel top and Balenciaga leather skinnies. Email her at sable@elysewalker.com
Jennifer (bottom left) is wearing an Alexander McQueen LWD (that’s little white dress) with a McQueen peplum leather jacket. She defines her style as sexy meets boho-chic. Email her at jsalem@elysewalker.com
And finally, Kaitlyn (bottom right) is wearing a Balenciaga leather jacket over a semi-sheer Barbara Bui tank and Current Elliott jeans. About her style, she says, “I like to invest in classic pieces, but I’m a tomboy at heart.” Email her at kaitlyn@elysewalker.com

For this week’s stylist picks, Lauren played with negative space by teaming a cut-out Alexander McQueen peplum top with Peter Pilotto shoes that echo the theme. A leather Barbara Bui pencil skirt balances out the proportions of her top, while a neon Nancy Gonzalez clutch and Assad Mounseur necklace inject the ensemble with a jolt of electricity. We’re loving the combination of black and blue for Fall! For this week’s stylist picks, Lauren pulled together a sophisticated look that incorporates a textured peplum top from Elizabeth and James, which she balanced out by uber-skinny jeans from Rag & Bone. The peplum trend is still going strong for Fall!
She introduced a pop of additional color with a printed Peter Pilotto scarf, then piled on necklaces from The Woods (an Elyse Walker staple!) for an infusion of downtown edge. Towering Giuseppe Zanotti suede booties and a cobalt Proenza Schouler PS1 pouch pull the whole look together.

Now that spring is in full bloom, it’s time to start showing some skin! Lauren styled this transitional shorts look that’ll keep you warm while there’s still a slight chill in the air. She built the look around a tailored pair of Balenciaga shorts ($825), layering a long sleeve, open back Haute Hippie top ($275) over a basic button down, and nipping in the waist with a skinny black belt from Gucci ($265) to create an hourglass silhouette. To keep the look young and infuse a pop of color and pattern, she paired a Valentino leopard pony hair spike knuckle clutch ($2,095) with hot pink Christian Louboutin ‘Lady Corset’ heels ($1,195). Thanks to one of our fave Elyse Walker girls Alex Lippman for modeling this outfit!

Lauren put together this casual but sophisticated look today that’s perfect for heading from the office to apres-work cocktails or a day running from meeting to meeting. The pretty spring palette combines soft cream, blush and toffee tones.
She started by layering this cropped By Zoe “Malia” boucle jacket ($350) over a hip-length Enza Costa scoop neck tank in Blush ($93) for the perfect proportions up top. Then she added Genetic Denim’s “The Shane” faux front cigarette jeans in Feather ($225), and pulled the look together with a coffee-colored Alexander McQueen skull scarf ($295) and a sleek white Balenciaga Work Bag with rose gold hardware ($1895). You can further accessorize a look like this with a long tassel necklace and flats, like Lauren did, or add a pair of ankle booties, for a slightly sexier twist.
