J’aime l’automne! We’re so excited for fall! Over the past few months, we’ve shown different ways to wear sleeveless and summertime jumpsuits, but now the trend is transitioning into Fall 2011. A sleek, long sleeve jumpsuit can be a great canvas for a fall look. Add a chunky necklace or brightly colored bag like this YSL tote (available in-store). For extra drama, put on a funky fedora like this one from Costume National. While a jumpsuit can feel very retro, this one from Stella McCartney has very clean lines providing a modern starting point for a fun, edgy evening look.

“I love this little Proenza Schouler printed camisole, but it seems like such a daytime piece–the sunny color and pattern just lend themselves to the daylight. I really wanted to wear it out for drinks after work, so in order to funk it up, I paired it with sexy, black Alexander Wang shorts and a really edgy pair of Alexander McQueen ankle boots. The Vince jacket I threw on over the camisole adds an element of evening sophistication and keeps the ensemble from showing too much skin. I accessorized with this leopard print Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci bag to keep with the funky theme of the outfit. The little pop of leopard works as a neutral while adding an interesting element to the look.”

“This pretty cascading hemline is not going anywhere! We will see it continuing for the next couple of seasons, so don’t be afraid to invest in this silhouette now. I love to wear this Alexander McQueen tunic as a dress, but for a less dramatic and more wearable day-time look, throw on a pair of Current Elliot cropped skinny jeans underneath. Finish the outfit with a cool bootie which makes the look a little more fun. I’m in love with this Alexander Wang bootie – the color goes with so much.

I used midnight blue accessories to add contrast to this otherwise neutral palatte. Don’t be afraid to veer away from being matchy-matchy. Just beause you have a navy accessory doesn’t mean you need a shoe in the same hue, and the grey tone of this Alexander Wang bootie pairs well with a navy suede Proenza Schouler messenger bag or a navy Lanvin patent clutch.”
