Recently, the board of directors of Cedars-Sinai, along with Chairman Lawrence B. Platt, honored Elyse for her contribution to Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Program and success with the Pink Party with a special dinner at Fig & Olive on Melrose Ave. Many of the Pink Party host committee members and sponsors came out to show their appreciation for Elyse, as did the director of the Women’s Cancer Program Dr. Beth Y. Karlan. Here are some highlights from the night.

Last Saturday night, stars stalked the pink carpet in various shades of the color ranging from nude to neon – all in support of the 7th annual Pink Party benefiting Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Project. Check out what Jamie Lee Curtis, JJ Abrams, Jessica Capshaw, Sarah Drew and other celebs had to say – and what they wore – before they headed inside to party at Drai’s Hollywood, sip pink cocktails and watch a fashion show featuring Stella McCartney, Valentino, Barbara Bui and J. Mendel.

InStyle dedicated a full page in their December issue to coverage of the Pink Party, asking host Jennifer Garner and celeb guests Marcia Cross, Julie Benz, Carla Gugino, Giada de Laurentiis and Michelle Tractenberg to answer the question, “What’s one thing nobody knows about you?” Carla Gugino played coy, answering, “Well, if nobody knows it, they still won’t!”, while Giada de Laurentiis copped to having a potty mouth.
While the stars rocked pink frocks by Rebecca Minkoff, Diane von Furstenberg, Prada and Paul & Joe, they were front and center for the fashion show featuring head-to-toe runway looks from Elizabeth and James, Roberto Cavalli, Stella McCartney, Haute Hippie, Brunello Cucinelli, and Blumarine.
