Elyse is back from New York Fashion Week where she took in the Proenza Schouler, Herve Leger and Reed Krakoff shows, hung with designer Chris Benz (also currently sporting pink hair!) and visited more showrooms than many of us thought humanly possible in search of the newest, latest and chicest clothes and accessories to bring back to the Pacific Palisades store and our online store. After a quick breeze through LA this week, she takes off again for Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks next Tuesday. We’ll do a full recap of the Spring and Summer 2012 trends to look out for after checking out the runways in Europe. (Get excited for dispatches from Bottega Veneta, Prada, Givenchy and many more!) But until then, here are some highlights from the runways and showrooms of NYC.

Earlier this month, we put on a fashion show with the Mannequins of Assistance League of Southern California for a charity luncheon they hosted at The Beverly Hills Hotel. The ladies of the Mannequins made fabulous models for some of the best Elyse Walker looks of the season from such designers as Herve Leger, Valentino and Blumarine, and we were thrilled to be a part of such a great event that raised funds for social services.
