Looks We Loved from the MTV Movie Awards

Sunday night’s red carpet for the MTV Movie Awards was awash in metallics, cut-out dresses, and big Hollywood names. A few of our fave celebs looked totally stunning wearing pieces by – you guessed it – a few of our favorite designers.

Shailene Woodley joked about how sweaty she was all night, but she looked pretty damn cool to us. She paired a chic, menswear-inspired Stella McCartney suit with silver and black Stella sandals and a messy fishtail braid to accept her award for ‘Best Breakthrough Performance’ in The Descendants.

Let’s face it: Charlize Theron can can do no wrong on the red carpet. She werked it in a lipstick red peplum dress designed by the one and only Alber Elbaz for Lanvin. Theron kept her look classic with a simple Lanvin clutch and metallic Jimmy Choo heels.

Jennifer Aniston just has a way with little black dresses, and this leather Valentino LBD was no exception. The mini’s edgy vibe dovetailed perfectly with her win as ‘Best On-Screen Dirtbag’ for her role in Horrible Bosses. She paired the sexy one-shoulder number with strappy black Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and, of course, her toe ring. Who had your favorite look of the night?
